Chinese Estates Holdings Limited (the “Group”) will launch a summer job program from July to August this year, providing more than 100 short-term and part-time jobs for students. Students without working experience and aged 13 or above will also be considered for all positions. However, (i) applicants aged under 15 must submit a "Parent Written Consent" before joining the Group; (ii) applicants who have not completed Form 3 are required to submit a "Valid School Attendance Certificate" signed by the head of school and (iii) minimum age requirement, completion of Form 3 and other requirements must be met in accordance with Hong Kong laws and regulations for certain positions.
The remuneration package of all summer employees is close to that of the Group's full-time employees, with an hourly wage of up to HK$500 and liberal employee discounts. If the summer employees perform well during their employment and there are relevant vacancies in the group in the future, they will be granted the priority to rejoin their former department as full-time employees after graduation, without interviews or probations. In addition, for summer employees who have relatively bad financial situation, as long as they pass the censorship, they will be employed by the Group preferentially and entitled to meal and transport allowances.
